CESANESE IGP LAZIO
THE HISTORY: Autoctonous variety widespread in Lazio’s viticulture.
Historically, its maximum expansion is found between the provinces of Rome and Frosinone, becoming protagonist of many DOCs and of the first DOCG recognized on a regional level.
THE WINE CHARACTERISTICS: Red ruby color with garnet veins. The fragrances are elegant and intense and they remind of plums jam, black cherries, black spices and tobacco. It is mellow in mouth, structured on average and with a present but elegant tannin.
This wine is perfect if matched with grilled red meats, roasted lamb, roasted pork and with average aging cheeses.
Recommended serving temperature is 16°/18°C.
